Dean's 1970 Mach 1 Mustang
The 1970 Mustang was basically a carryover 69 bodyshell with completely new front & rear facias, without the upper body side scoop, and lots of other small updates, including the new-for-1970 351 Cleveland small block with 11:1 compression rated at 300 hp.
Dean's car is fitted with the Hurst-shifted 4-speed toploader, and 9" Ford 3.25 Traction-Lok rear. Options include the shaker hood scoop, deluxe interior with wood grain, rim-blow steering wheel, in-dash tachometer, front & rear spoilers, rear window slats, and chrome 15" Magnums. Among other things, Mach 1s came with twist-type hood locks, hood stripes, and cast aluminum lower rocker panels.
Dean's car is Acapulco Blue with black deluxe interior and features a Cleveland built by Jim Grubs Racing with Edelbrock aluminum heads & intake. Dean's no stranger to Mustangs, this one's been in his stable since 2007.
